AutographMyCar.com is the innovative idea of long time drag racer Terry Cain.
You see, Terry needs financial help to support his racing team. Corporate sponsor financial support is very hard to obtain and being what many consider a "sportsman" class of racing makes it that much more difficult to obtain sponsorship. Perspective sponsors seem to think it's a hobby. Now, if you've ever been around drag racing you've seen and know, it's not a hobby. Drag racers take their racing serious. To some it is a profession. There are a several "sportsman" racers who make a living drag racing. Terry's not among that crowd. He works a 9-5 job, has other responsibilities, which consume a large portion of his income. Recently he came up with the idea of letting people autograph his racecar. After doing so he began to think there just might be others, he didn't know who would like to help autograph his racecar. The internet reaches so many viewers. Some viewers who feel and understands Terry's frustration of trying, time and time again to obtain sponsorship. The type of person who wouldn't mind contributing a small amount to have their autograph, or a logo on his racecar. Someone, feeling good, knowing his/her contribution is helping a race team continue to race.

In exchange for the contribution, Terry's offering specials on his race team wear such as T-shirts, hats and other items and all contributors receive his newsletter.
